The Penguin Clay Target Club is located within the Dial Range Sporting Complex. The range layout is set amongst native vegetation using the natural lay of the land to present a diverse range of targets to the shooter.

The club prides itself on having a friendly family based membership and caters for all ages and gender, with gravel tracks through out the range allowing all weather access to all levels of fitness.

People can start the sport at 12 years of age and with the help of our two National Level 1 Coaches, coaching in Firearm Handling and Range Safety is available to all club members. Training days are held every three months for novice/junior shooters or for those who want to improve their skill level. Ammunition and Club Firearms are available for the Novice Shooter and are controlled under the Supervision of Licensed Shooters.

All range days are on Sundays starting at 9.30am, and depending on the time of year the competition will be either 75 or 100 Clays. Different types of competitions are also run throughout the year to add a little variation. Members also travel to other clubs to increase their skill level and to qualify for State Teams selection which enables them to attend National Competitions. Due to overwhelming interest in the school kids Once again Penguin will be honored to help out with the running of a safety training and shoot instruction Held over several days in an controlled environment.
